So I have taken off again for another little adventure! This one however is still in the US. I have left behind the beaches of California for the vast stretches of land and trees in Tennessee. I suppose many of you are asking "How in the world did you end up in Tennessee?" Well here is your answer...I have a good friend who recently moved here and she was in need of some assistance with her 3 month old twin baby's and 3 and a half year old. With Daddy deploying she wanted someone to come and help out. I was more then happy to take the trip and come play. You know I can't pass up an excuse to hold a baby especially when it involves traveling. Now I suppose this post is a bit late considering I have been here for about a month now but you all should know I have tried to write it many times however I have been unsuccessful.
Below are all the events that have caused the huge delay in the writing of this blog.........
A night out in Nashville with a friend I haven't seen in years...
Jumping in a pile of leaves and throwing them in the air....
Making snowman shaped Rice Crispy treats...Yes that is frosty watching us make them. Mary wanted an example as she created. She found her inspiration while singing along to Frosty the Snowman.
Acting out a scene from Toy Story while dressed as a princess....It takes a lot of practice to get it right so I have had to watch the scene in the movie to try and get my lines correct. Little Mary accepts nothing less then perfection when performing the scene with her....you will be corrected if you are wrong so there has been a lot of time spent practicing.
Spend the day with my 2 valentines....I know you are all super jealous right now!
Build the tallest play dough tower ever which took many attempts....and yes you must be dressed as a princess during this activity also.
Have family dance parties most nights.....
...but...
....sometimes we party a little to hard.
As you can see there has been little down time for writing but a lot of time for living it up here in Tennessee. It has been a whirlwind month that is coming to an end this week which I can hardly believe. I am so glad I have been able to be here and spend this time with this amazing family. It's a blessing to know them and be a part of their lives! I am sure there will be a lot more to come in this final week so I will have a follow up post.....
Gotta run now there are some tiny toes that need tickeling and a princess who needs snuggling from the snuggle monster!
